Andrew Horwich

I (Ash as I am known in the office) studied at Hull University in the 1980’s whilst working at SBB’s predecessor R A C Symes & Co. I am a practising Solicitor and my areas of practice include a wide range of civil disputes ranging from high value probate disputes to the recovery of residential properties for landlords. Other areas of practice include personal injury and land law disputes. My involvement over the years in a number of contested probate cases has brought me directly into the arena of probate practice dealing with a number of estates and much of my time is now spent in the Wills and Probate department.

I am the firm’s senior Partner, head of Probate, staff Partner, training Partner, finance Partner and IT Partner. These numerous roles bring me very much into day to day contact with the multiple facets of a busy legal practice.

Away from the office I enjoy long walks and can mostly be found walking my dog Luca a Doberman. Most of my spare time seems to be devoted to this mission. When you see me out walking my dog (Luca) you will understand.

Our children have long since grown up and flown the nest, in some cases to far flung parts of the world. My better half and I do enjoy the time we spend with our three grandchildren who keep us on our toes.
